The purpose of the trip is to provide an opportunity for students of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (LKYSPP) and GraSPP to study Japanese public policy through discussions and visits to stakeholders Japanese policy-making, including ministries, local governments, NGOs and businesses. The Study Trip is very popular among both LKYSPP and GraSPP students every year, and this time is the 7th anniversary trip. There will be funding available for the students who help prepare for the trip. The trip is also a great opportunity to network and befriend students of one of the most prestigious public policy schools in Asia.

Accommodations and transportation outside of Tokyo will mainly be funded by the program. You may be asked to pay around 10,000 yen for food and other expenses.
*Due to the school’s regulations, you will receive the subsidies after the event. Therefore, we ask you to pay the fees (58,680yen) in advance.
