現実の都市地域政策を都市地域経済学のツールを用いて分析評価する能力を養うことを目的とする。テーマは、都市交通政策、土地利用政策、都市環境政策、住宅政策等のなかから適宜選択する。

ミクロ経済学（あるいはミクロ経済学基礎）及び計量経済学（あるいは統計分析手法）と同等のミクロ経済学、計量経済学の基礎があることを履修の前提とする。

平常点及び練習問題、レポート等による。
