This course has two topics.
1) the domestic implementation of international human rights treaties,
2) human rights in Japan from the viewpoint of international law

Presentation and Participation.

Required Textbooks

All the materials shall be demonstrated in the first session, which include Hans Kelsen’s works, Concluding Observations by UN Human Rights Committee and Medellin Case in the US Supreme Court.

Reference Books

Reference books will be demonstrated in each session.
