This course aims to improve the academic writing and presentation skills of the participants.

The writing component will cover:
- Refresher of essay-writing basics
- First steps in writing an academic paper (from idea to draft)
- Advice on drafting and revision
- Academic writing style in economics
- Journal submissions and dealing with referee feedback

In the presentation component, we will cover:

- How to structure and design presentations
- How NOT to present your paper (and how to do so successfully)
- Presentation technique (voice use, managing your audience, questions, etc.)
