国際プログラムコース(MPP/IP)
国際プログラムは、グローバルな視野を持ち、国際舞台で活躍する公共政策プロフェッショナルの養成を目的としています。
英語による授業のみで修了要件を満たすことが要求され、将来の日本を担う日本人学生とそれぞれの国のリーダーになる優秀な留学生が、同じ教室で学び互いに高め合う環境を目指します。
国際的に通用するカリキュラムに日本の独自性を加え、学術交流協定を持つ世界トップクラスの大学院との互換性を確保するよう工夫されており、ダブル・ディグリー制の一層の拡大に向け環境を充実させると同時に、アジアからの視野を重視した個性豊かな科目をそろえます。世界銀行やアジア開発銀行、国際通貨基金からの奨学金プログラム等によって、海外、特にアジア諸国からの優秀な学生への経済支援体制も整備されています。
Completion Requirements
In order to complete the program of study at the Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP), you must be enrolled for two years or longer and earn 46 course credits or more (see Article 3, Paragraph 1 and Article 4, Paragraph 1 of The University of Tokyo Rules for the Graduate School of Public Policy). In addition, you must complete the required courses in your division (sub-specialization) and gain credits for them (see Article 6, Paragraph 3 of the same Rules).
You may include up to 8 credit points earned for courses taken at other post-graduate research faculties/schools ,the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, or an undergraduate faculty, when calculating the required credits for completion of the degree (see Article 8 of the same Rules).
You cannot register more than 38 credits of courses in one academic year (see Article 11, Paragraph 2 of the same Rules).

Take note that you may not register for courses which have the same name as the courses for which you have already earned credits for.
A module with more than two completion requirements will be counted as meeting all relevant completion requirements.

When the enrollee in AY 2014 or before acquire credits of those added subjects, it is counted as completion requirements credits of this requirement. Besides, it is also counted when you have taken them in AY 2014 or before. - Completion of economics courses below:

Note: If you have completed and earned credit for Advanced Microeconomics I given by the Faculty of Economics or Microeconomics I given by the Graduate School of Economics and Advanced Microeconomics II given by the Faculty of Economics or Microeconomics II given by the Graduate School of Economics, you do not need to take these courses in the GraSPP program.
(2) A or B
- A.Macroeconomics for Public Policy, Practice Session for Macroeconomics for Public Policy
- B.Macroeconomics, Practice Session for Macroeconomics
Note: If you have completed and earned credit for Advanced Macroeconomics I given by the Faculty of Economics or Macroeconomics I given by the Graduate School of Economics and Advanced Macroeconomics II given by the Faculty of Economics or Macroeconomics II given by the Graduate School of Economics, you do not need to take these courses in the GraSPP program.
(3) A, B or C
- A.Statistical Methods, Practice Session for Statistical Methods

Note: If you have completed and earned credit for one of (a) to (d) given by the Faculty of Economics and both (e) and (f), you do not need to take these courses in the GraSPP program.
