International Relations Director of ENA visits GraSPP
October 19, 2004 Mr. Philippe Bastelica, International Relations Director of ENA, France (L'Ecole nationale d'administration) made a courtesy visit to GraSPP, accompanied by trainees at French Embassy in Japan. Dean Morita, Prof. Takatoshi Ito of GraSPP, Prof.Yoichi Ito and Prof.Tanabe of Graduate Schools for Law and Politics welcomed them.
The purpose of Mr. Bastelica’s visit this time, was to investigate how to educate high ranking government officials and also promote exchanges with education institutes of public policy professionals similar to ENA. After ENA introduced its history and education philosophy, GraSPP explained its structure and curriculum and opinions were exchanged. We learned a lot from listening to the education methods of ENA with its long history including an internship system.
