Application for Summer Internships 2013 for International Students
Application for internship for international students is now available. All students must take out internship insurance at the Graduate School's Office before the internship starts (210 JPY).
To apply, download Application Form below and submit the necessary documents by email attachment.

INSTITUTIONS FOR INTERNSHIP
Note: The information below is subject to change. Terms and conditions may change without notice. The number of interns does not guarantee the number of interns who will be accepted.
A Japan External Trade Organization
Number of interns: 2 (who is fluent in English) plus 1 (who is fluent in Japanese)
Condition: Transportation for commuting not covered. No daily allowance paid.
Period of Internship: 3-4 weeks in August or September
B Japan National Tourism Organization
Special Eligibility: Those who can read, write and speak English and Japanese. (see below in Japanese)
Condition: Transportation for commuting not covered. No daily allowance paid.

条件：英語のネイティブまたはそれに準ずる英語力があり、日本語もある程度「読み書き話す」ができる人、特に英語を適切な日本語に訳し記述することができる人
業務内容（予定）：海外のキーパーソンに対する日本のコンベンション（国際会議、展示会等）関係ニュースの発信（英語）、海外の主要コンベンションビューロー（コンベンションを誘致し、開催支援する公的機関）のウェブプロモーションの分析、コンベンションに関する国際機関の調査レポートの日本語訳及び記述

D Tokyo Gas

Period of Internship: 3-4 weeks in August-September 2013
Condition: Daily allowance of 2,000 JPY including transportation for commuting will be paid.
E SMBC-Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Cooperation
Special Eligibility: The applicant must have sufficient skills in English. (Native English speaker, or non-native with iBT110/ CBT280/ IELTS 8.0 or above). The applicant who has certain working experience in financial institutions would be preferable.
Department: GIBD (Global Institutional Banking Department)
Number of interns: 1 (to 2)
Period of Internship: 1 month (during July - August, 2013)
Comment: Highly-motivated student, who is interested in global financial institutions, is very much appreciated.
GIBD of SMBC conducts a business with other global financial institutions, such as Citigroup, JPMorgan, Barclays, Bank of China, DBS.
Condition: The commuting pass to the office of the institution (in Otemachi) for one month and 500 JPY/day for lunch will be provided by the institution.
The intern can use the cafeteria in the Institution.
F Mizuho Cooperate Bank
Special Eligibility: The applicant should have some full-time working experience.

G The Chiba Bank, Ltd.
Department: Human Resources Division
Number of interns: 1 or 2
Period of Internship: around 3 weeks in August to September 2013
Comment: Highly-motivated student, who is interested in one of the following tasks is appreciated:
a) Research on a certain industry in one of Asian countries such as medical industry, agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, etc.
b) Research on legal or tax system in Asian countries.
c) Research on business opportunities for the Chiba Bank in Asian region.
Condition: 1,000－2,000 JPY/day for commuting and lunch will be provided.
