Publication Ethics Seminar Publication Ethics in Scientific Journals Unavoidable Duties of Researchers
Publication of scientific journals establish themselves based on "relationship of mutual trust" by the world of researchers, including an author, a person of review, an editor. However, in late years it is not unusual to face an incident to be questioned about a double contribution, or data manipulation. The correspondence to such an unjust submission and violation of publication ethic becomes an international issue that a researcher faces today.
We invited experts of publication ethics from research publication industry to our university, in addition to Prof. Ichiro Sakuma of the University of Tokyo, who is an Executive Editor of Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics. This seminar will cover basics of publication ethics and the duty of researchers. We would like participation of authors, reviewers, and editors.

出版倫理セミナー 学術ジャーナルにおける出版倫理を考える -研究者にとって、避けられない責務-
学術ジャーナルの出版は、著者、査読者、エディターを含め、世界中の研究者による「信頼関係」を前提に成り立っています。 しかしながら、近年、二重投稿、データ改ざんなど研究論文の出版倫理を問われる事例に直面することは決して珍しいことではありません。 そのような不正投稿や出版倫理違反への対応は、研究者が直面している国際的な課題となっています。
そこで、Computerized Medical Imaging and GraphicsのExecutive Editorを担当されている佐久間教授より、ジャーナル・エディター、 そして研究者の視点から出版倫理についてお話しいただくとともに、学術出版の指針を発表している出版倫理委員会（Committee On Publication Ethics, COPE）の前チェアである、 Liz Wager氏をお招きし、COPEの指針とご経験をもとに、出版倫理の考え方や研究者の責務について講演をいただきます。
論文を執筆される教職員、大学院生のみなさまのご参加をお待ちしております。
