(Notice) 2015 Summer School at Science Po

Announcement of Sciences Po's 2015 Summer School in the social sciences and French language!

This exciting programme is a great way for students from partner universities to discover Sciences Po over the course of a summer at our Paris campus.

Features of the 2015 Summer School:
・Two distinct four-week sessions which will allow students to study at Sciences Po for either the session of their choice or both sessions if they so desire.
・June session: 5 June to 2 July
・July session: 3 to 30 July
・Two tracks of study from which to choose. Both tracks are offered in each session of the program :

1. A social sciences track, where students will select one typical Sciences Po class for intensive study over the course of 48 contact hours.
Classes are led by Sciences Po professors in either English or French. Students of this track also have the option to add on an additional 36 hours of French language study.

2. A French language track, where participants are placed at one of six levels adapted to their knowledge of the language. Over the course of 80 contact hours, students take a variety of courses intended to improve understanding and knowledge of French, practice real-life situations, and delve into social sciences topics through Sciences Po lecture classes.
・A reinforced partnership with the Alliance Francaise Ile-de-France. Students of the social sciences track may choose to add on 9 hours of French language classes a week at the Alliance. Students of the French language track may elect to formally assess their language level with an optional DELF or DALF exam administered at the Alliance.
・Housing options for students who so desire at the Cite Universitaire Internationale de Paris.

The Summer School team is at your disposal for any questions regarding this exciting opportunity.
In 2014, we worked closely with the universities of our nearly 200 participants to make sure that the students’ academic needs were met and ensure that many of them received credit towards their degrees.
Please let the Summer School team know if you would like to speak further about this or any other aspects of the 2015 programme.
Applications will be accepted starting in January 2015.
