Dr. Ingvild Bode of the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability and the University of Tokyo will examine the United States' recent policies concerning the use of force and discuss their implications for the general prohibition on the use of force in the context of ongoing conflicts and emerging technologies.
