Career and Employment Support
The Career Support Office focuses on supporting career opportunities for the University of Tokyo students, both Japanese and international, after graduation or completion of their studies. For more information please go to the Career Support Office window on the first floor of the north side of Yasuda Auditorium.

International Student Support Room, Division for Global Campus Initiatives
International Student Support Room provides advice to international students (including families) regarding their concerns and problems as well as their careers. Also it provides One-to-One Exchange Program in Japanese and Language Exchange Program (a program for students to teach their own language to each other). For more information, please refer to the site below.
One Stop Information Corner (Q and A, free discussion on any topic)
The One Stop Information Corner is a place where you can come by and ask any kind of questions and consult about any topics you wish to discuss. It can also introduce you to an appropriate consultation organization within/outside the university that will give you suggestions about how to deal with problems you have. No reservation is needed. The Corner is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 17:30. The location is on the second floor just at the top of the stairs from the back entrance to Yasuda Auditorium. (Look for the sign at the 2nd floor office entrance.)
The Health Service Center
The University of Tokyo CO-OP
You can purchase the necessities of daily student life, such as books and personal items, at lower prices at the university’s Consumers’ Cooperative Society(COOP) on campus. Specifically, books are sold at a 10% discount to students. If you wish to shop at the CO-OP, you must become a CO-OP member. The application fee for CO-OP membership is 16,000 yen. If you withdraw from the CO-OP when you return to your home country, you will receive a refund equal to the amount of your initial contribution.
Gotenshita Memorial Arena
At the Hongo Campus, the “Gotenshita Memorial Arena” can be used for table tennis, badminton, futsal, volleyball, basketball, and swimming. It also has training equipment that can be used. The admission fee is 300 yen per user.
The General Library
The General Library is located at the Hongo Campus and has a collection of about 1,200,000 books and 26,000 periodicals. If you use the library, you will need to show your student ID. When you use the library for the first time, user registration is required either at the General Information Desk on the first floor or at your departmental library.
Tutoring
Tutoring programs that assign a Japanese student or international student as your tutor can help you acclimatize more quickly to your new student life in Japan. For more information, your international student adviser will explain to you at an international students’ guidance.
Excursion
An overnight domestic trip for international students is scheduled in the fall. We made a trip to Nikko, Izu, Hakone etc., in the past.
