The topics to be included are divers, such as end of life care, nursing home regulations, trust, guardianship, medicare and so on. The basic aim is to understand what are legal issues in elder law in the U.S..

Schedule

Professor David English would teach intensively 11 times in June when he would stay in Tokyo. Higuchi would supplement two classes in July, which would be 13 classes in total.
The classes would cover the major areas of elder law, including housing issues, end of care issues, and property issues.

Teaching Methods

This course is done in English only. If you are interested in legal study in English, this one is a good chance.

Grading

Exam in English is given. But positive participation in each class adds to better points.
