This course offers interactive learning of international financial policy.It starts with a review of the literature on international finance, followed by lectures and discussions on (1) current account deficits and their adjustment; (2) International capital mobility; (3) exchange rate movements and stabilization policy; (4) selection of the exchange rate regime; (5) international policy coordination; (6) international financial architecture, IMF, World Bank and Asian Development Bank; (7) Official Development Aid; (8) financial crisis of the emerging market economies; (9) debt crisis; (10) reform of international financial architecture; (11) international monetary system.
