Description
This course deeply examines how labor polices will have positive and efficient impacts on the overall labor market as well as individual labor practices within firms. We then study and discuss several labor issues such as a rise in the unemployment rate, an increase in non-labor force among youths, enlarging inequality in earnings, serious mental problems in workplaces, and so on. Participants are required to examine these issues picked up by their study groups, and to propose how to introduce the desirable labor policy specifically, based on the data examination and the evaluation for the current corresponding policies.
