Description

Business Crimes refers to all of the control actions of a criminal law against illegitimate business activities by corporations. The lecture looks into the realities of business crimes in Japan and the legislative interpretation for those realities, with precedents cited from the Casebook . Topics shall include crimes against corporate laws, financial crimes, securities crimes, crimes against antitrust laws, consumer protection based on criminal laws.   

Students are required to have knowledge of criminal laws. Those who do not have the knowledge are required to read basic textbooks on criminal laws by themselves in advance.
