Case Study (Microeconomic Policy: Introduction to Policy Analysis III)

Description

Students work on real-world cases in some of the microeconomic policies for IT industry. Examples would be government-controlled and commercial broadcasting, regulatory policy for telecom and telecommunication (including mobile phone), public design for internet and NGN and network neutrality, promotion of internet contents industries and coordination of intellectual property right.

Students form teams of 3 to 5 members to cooperate on a project. We present some real-world cases and each team chooses one of the cases.

This course is offered for first year students.
