Description

This is a seminar course in American politics, specializing on the relations and interactions between foreign policy and domestic politics. In the first two or three classes, students are asked to read a Japanese book on the schools of foreign policy thinking in the US and their relations with domestic politics ideology. Then, they are required to read and discuss The Domestic Sources of American Foreign Policy: Insights and Evidence. In the last two or three classes, students are asked to present their own research result. All through the course, they are strongly expected to participate in discussion.
