Description

A study of the role of the UN Security Council in various international conflicts. Members will be divided to several groups to focus on one important conflict such as the Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Haiti, etc. respectively. Relying mainly on the UN website, each group will make a presentation on the state of the conflict the role of the UN Security Council, and will make a recommendation on the desirable role of the Security Council. At the end of the semester, a three-day off-campus class will be held.
