Description

This aims at acquiring basic and practical knowledge of WTO law and WTO dispute settlement procedure through (1) the analysis of past WTO dispute cases and (2) WTO moot court exercise.
First several classes are devoted to (1) introductory lecture on WTO law and WTO dispute settlement and (2) the in-depth analysis of WTO dispute settlement procedure by examining a few WTO cases. The rest of the classes are devoted to WTO moot court exercise, where participants prepare written and oral submissions of the complainant and the respondent and draft reports of the panel.
The class is conducted in English.
