【Course】To those who planning study "Modern Japanese Diplomacy"
Important notice
The course titled Japan's Foreign Policy offered by Visiting Professor Oshima during the Winter Semester will hold its first class on October 1.
Due to Professor's other commitments, classes during two weeks following the first session will be cancelled and in order to make up for one of the sessions, the 2nd session will be held on 18th or 19th of October (the exact date and time will be discussed during the first session).Those who intend to attend the class on October 1st (1st session):
As mentioned in the syllabus, each student will be assigned to one of the 12 countries/entities listed there.
Students should come prepared to submit his/her preference (name three to give room for possible adjustment) at the 1st session, and at the 2nd session, all students are requested to make a brief presentation as referred to in the syllabus.Those who intend to take the course but cannot attend the 1st session:
Please send an e-mail to TA, with your name and three names of countries that you would like to choose, by 8th of October. ( You can find the countries' list in syllabus)Based on students preferences, Professor will make the assignments and the result will be communicated to students soon after the 8th, which will give sufficient time for the first oral presentation at the 2nd session.
