COURSE: Summer Intensive Course "Area Politics C (Institutions, Processes, and Ideology in US Politics: Practices and Theories)"

Message from TA.

  1. Start working on the assigned readings as early as possible.
  2. Participants of the course should prepare all the reading materials before our first class. Many readings are available via links provided in the syllabus (uploaded on April 7). The books listed are cheaply available in both paperback and and kindle format. If you are still having difficulties obtaining some of the readings, please contact the TA of this course (Rentaro Iida: rentaro.iida@gmail.com).
  3. Classes will be held at Room 505 of Yayoi Sogo Building (5th floor) in Yayoi Campus. If you have not been to the room before, be sure to come early on the first day for it might take a while to find it.
  4. The room will be air-conditioned, so you might want to bring a jacket or a cardigan should you feel the cold.
  5. By courtesy of the Shibusawa Eiichi Memorial Foundation, a farewell lunch party is planned after class on the last day.
