Guided Tour to Off-shore Wind Turbunes in Chiba/Ibaraki
On December 15, 2015, we will organize a tour to two offshore wind turbine sites in Choshi, Chiba and Kamisu, Ibaraki as a part of a course at GraSPP. We will admit a few GraSPP students to the tour as we have a few extra slots available. If you want to join us, please send an e-mail to Norie Seki noseki@pp.u-tokyo.ac.jp to express your interest by December 7.
In Choshi, we will approach the offshore turbine on a local fishermen's boat (if the weather permits), and TEPCO officer will explain the details about the project (in Japanese). In the afternoon, we will visit the Wind Power Kamisu site with 15 offshore turbines.
＜Itinerary＞
December 15, Tuesday.
9:40 Bus departs Choshi Station (Take "Shiosai #1" Express, departing Tokyo Station at 7.37)
10:00 - 10:30 Introduction by the TEPCO staff
10:30 - 11:20 Boat trip to the turbine
11:20 - 12:00 Visit the ground-based transformer and other facilities.
12:00 - 13:00 Bus trip to Kamisu (Lunch on the bus)
13:30 - 14:30 Visit Wind Power Kamisu offshore turbuines.
15:00 - 16:30 Bus to Narita Station, adjourn.*Each participant is responsible for the travel to Choshi Station, and from Narita Station.
*Can leave the tour after visiting the Choshi facility, at Choshi Station.
*No need to pay for the bus and boat during the tour.
洋上風力発電施設見学希望者募集
12月15日（火）に銚子沖および茨城県神栖の風力発電施設の視察を講義「海洋科学技術政策論」等の一環で実施します。若干の空席がでましたので、公共政策大学院の学生さんにも開放します。参加希望者は12月7日までに、noseki@pp.u-tokyo.ac.jp までご連絡ください。先着順で受け付けます。
銚子では地元漁協の漁船に乗船、沖合の風力発電近くを回るほか（波高高いなど悪天候の場合陸上から見学）、東京電力のご担当者からの説明なども行われます。その後ウインドパワーかみすにバスにて移動、ご担当者から説明をいただきます。
＜行程＞
実施日：12月15日（火）
9:40 銚子駅前から貸切バスで出発（東京駅発特急しおさい1号7時37分発に各自乗車のこと）
10：00～10：30 バス内にてＮＥＤＯ洋上風力実証研究の概要説明
10：30～11：20 洋上風力発電設備の見学
11：20～12：00 陸上変電所内部およびその付近の見学
12：00～13：00 貸切バスにて神栖へ移動 （車内にて昼食）
13：30～14：30 「ウインドパワーかみす洋上風力発電所」視察
15:00～16:30 貸切バスで成田へ移動、解散※往路：東京～銚子、復路：成田～自宅までの交通費は自己負担です。
※銚子沖施設見学後に、銚子駅で途中離脱も可能です。
