LKY- GraSPP Day 2016 Call for Applications

This year marks the sixth time for Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of National University of Singapore to conduct a study trip in Japan. As a host in Tokyo, Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Tokyo is holding LKY-GraSPP Day, a student conference to discuss the hottest public policy topics of Japan on February 23rd.

This year, we will be focusing on:
'Aging Population’,
'Industrial and Economic Development',
'Fiscal Policy',
‘Education’,
‘National Security’

Please join this great opportunity to learn Japanese policy and create networks with future policy makers of Asia!

Those who joined GraSPP Day and wish to join other events are welcome to join the other part of the trip in Tokyo from February 23rd and 25th. Last year, we visited the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, etc.

This year, we will visit Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Finance, etc. (not confirmed yet).

Note:
Those who do not attend GraSPP Day are not permitted to join Tokyo Trip.
If you wish to join the events, please register through the registration form.
If applicants are more than we can accept (5-10 students), we might choose attendants by lottery.

LKY- GraSPP Day 2016 参加者募集のお知らせ

シンガポール国立大学リークアンユー公共政策大学院の学生によるJapan Tripも今年で6回目となります。 それに伴い、2月23日に東京大学公共政策大学院にてLKY – GraSPP Dayが開催されることが決定しました。
今年のGraSPP Dayのテーマは、日本の「財政政策」「教育政策」「高齢化政策」「経済産業発展政策」「国際安全保障政策」の５つです。
シンガポール側からの学生参加者は、ほとんどがアジア各国の中央官庁やユニセフなどの国際機関、政策シンクタンクといった公共政策に関わる分野で職員として経験を積んでこられた方々です。平和主義の原点となる地を訪問し終えたリークアンユー公共政策大学院の学生との貴重な交流の機会ですので、ふるってご応募下さい！

＜2/23、25 Tokyo Trip ～省庁等訪問～同行者同時募集！＞
昨年に引き続き、GraSPP Dayの参加者で希望する方には、2月23日、25日に行われる、Japan Tripの東京での訪問先に同行していただけます。
昨年の訪問先は自民党青年局、農林水産省、経済産業省、国交省等です。 今年は文部科学省、経済産業省、財務省等への訪問を予定しています。

※全日程参加可能な方のみ申請してください。
※GraSPP Dayに参加せず上記イベントのみの参加は認められません。
※参加希望者は申し込みフォームで申請してください。5～10名程度を予定しており、希望者多数の場合は、抽選を行います。
