Description

Law is a fundamental infrastructure of market economy. This course examines the economic functions of the legal rules regarding business organizations and market. Beginning with Coase’s “The Nature of the Firm”, the course covers such topics as, 1. limited liability and the creditors, 2. corporate governance, 3. corporate finance, 4. mandatory disclosure, 5. regulation of insider trading, etc.
