Description
The aim of this course is to gain some basic knowledge of environmental law in general. In addition to the detailed explanation on the legal system and the legal theory, we will study their historical and social background, as well as scientific knowledge. It will promote our understanding of legal matters.
In this lecture, we will focus on the relation between international law and Japanese law. In modern society, environmental problems tend to have a worldwide scale. It is indispensable for us to have some knowledge on international law to understand environmental law.
