Description

Good labor policy in particular is required to find a well-balanced and convinced outcome by negotiations between different parties with different interests. This is called the “OTOSHI-DOKORO” in Japanese by
men of action for labor policies. We study what it actually means and how we can evaluate it in this course.
The specific research topics are, for example, unemployment, human development, wage inequality, job losses of youths and seniors, work-life balance, and so on. This course hopes participants to find the
important policy issue voluntarily and to present the solution based on empirical and theoretical backgrounds.
