Description

Program evaluation problem is explained and various methods devised to overcome the problem is discussed. Methods discussed are the regression analysis, matching methods, panel data analysis, the instructional variable approach, regression discontinuity approach, LATE approach, and structural approach.
Advantages and disadvantages of each of the approaches as well as relationship and among all of them are discussed.
Detail are given in the syllabus each year.
