Professor Chiyuki Aoi was a panelist in NATO Allied Command Transformation’s Strategic Dialogue, 6-7 May 2025, in Washington DC.

The Dialogue brought together NATO’s IP4 representatives and experts from Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia. In light of the increasingly complex security environment, NATO aims to strengthen collaboration with Indo-Pacific partners to address cross-cutting security challenges with global ramifications. Among the invited experts, Professor Aoi served as a panelist on Indo-Pacific geopolitics during the event’s opening session, titled “Connecting Areas of Responsibility – from the North Atlantic to the South Pacific.”
