The Strategic Communications Education and Research Unit (SCERU), established June 2022 at the Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP) at the University of Tokyo, is devoted to conducting multi-faceted research, education and engagement programmes on Strategic Communications.

Professor Aoi contributed to the NATO StratCom COE report on the NextGen Information Environment and the role of AI, the Centre’s contribution to the 2026 Munich Security Conference.
