The Future of Sustainable International Civil Aviation
We are pleased to announce that we will hold the 93rd Public Policy Seminar by welcoming His Excellency Mr. Juan Carlos Salazar, the Secretary General of the ICAO（International Civil Aviation Organization).
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) was established in 1944 as a specialized agency of the United Nations under the Chicago Convention, and this year marks its 80th anniversary. Participants will deepen their understanding of the role that ICAO has played in promoting the development of international civil aviation, fostering international cooperation, and establishing international rules.
In recent years, international civil aviation has been required to address global challenges such as strengthening resilience against infectious diseases and achieving carbon neutrality, as well as adapting emerging technologies. What strategies is ICAO implementing to tackle these issues? Together with panelists from the aviation industry and the next-generation participants, this seminar will envision the future of international aviation.
We plan to allow an interactive Q&A session with participants, so we strongly encourage you interested in transport, new aviation technology, and global careers to attend this event.
