日本語クラスのご案内

Japanese language course is not provided at GraSPP. Instead, you can take the course provided by other sections.
As there are some important notes, please read the following and the materials provided at their links carefully and follow the instructions.

1.  The Japanese Language Course by Center for Japanese Language Education

   ・Non-credit course

2. The Japanese Language Education Course of the Graduate School of Engineering (JLCSE) by Graduate School of Engineering 
   JLCSE
   ・Credit course
   ・There is a capacity limit, you may register within the limit.
   ・Course registration must be done through STAR (the system of JLCSE) during the period set by Graduate School of Engineering (GSE). Registration out of the period is not possible.
   ・If you want credits from this course, you must register for the course through UTAS (UTokyo academic system; university-wide system) as well. The registration through UTAS must be done during the registration period set by GraSPP.
   ・Before the registration through UTAS, you must undergo the level check (placement test) and complete the course registration through STAR.
   ・Grades will be given after September 1 for the spring course, after March 1 for the autumn course.
   ・If you take JLCSE course in your final semester, you must plan to fulfill the completion requirements without the credits from JLCSE course because the grading release is after the completion assessment at GraSPP.
