Vania Putri Andriani

Tari is a master’s student in the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at The University of Tokyo and is also a member of the University-wide STIG (Science, Technology, and Innovation Governance) education program, offered primarily at the Graduate School of Public Policy at UTokyo. She is an Indonesian whose small hometown is located just next to Jakarta. She went several times to visit North Jakarta and saw how the community is in trouble, struggling to live near a highly polluted body of sea water. Currently, she is conducting research on climate change's impact on the vulnerable community. Prior to her research, Tari worked as an international marketer at a Japanese company in Tokyo. She has also been co-founding @sugoitv, a social media account with 600,000++ Indonesian subscribers on YouTube, Tik Tok, and Instagram. Through Sugoi TV, she has been sharing tips for studying and working as an immigrant in Japan for more than three years.
