We are pleased to inform you that the OECD Internship Programme 2025 (Round 1) is now open for applications.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organisation comprised of 38 member countries, that works to build better policies for better lives. Our mission is to promote policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.
Minimum requirements
- Be enrolled in a full-time degree programme for the duration of the internship in a field or discipline related to the work of the OECD.
- Be proficient in English and/or French.
- Be available for a minimum period of one month on a full-time basis (40h per week). The internship duration is limited to six months with a possibility of extension up to a maximum of twelve months.
Tips for screening
- Some hiring managers are particularly interested in students with academic or professional backgrounds in Computer Science, Human Resources, Finance, Communication and Graphic Design, and Event Management. Bachelor’s candidates with these profiles may also be considered.
- OECD strongly encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply. Please note that internships are primarily open to nationals of OECD Member countries.
Important note
- Pre-selected students should not apply to the OECD General internship vacancy advertised on their website. The profiles will only be considered through the Partner Institution vacancy. Only students who are not pre-selected should apply for the General vacancy.
- OECD Directorates have the flexibility to on-board interns both in-person and remotely. OECD currently works in a hybrid mode, so while in-person presence is generally required, occasional teleworking is available to interns. The specific working arrangements will be agreed upon between the Directorate and the student, with the possibility of fully remote work if mutually agreed with the hiring team.
