Call for participation in the Capacity Building Program "Long-term financing and partnership-based solutions for water and sanitation infrastructure with a focus on the PPP model" (March 17-19)
Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) is seeking two current GraSPP students, nationals of ADB member countries, to participate in the ADBI-Toyo Graduate School of PPP School Capacity Building Program, "Long-term financing and partnership-based solutions for water and sanitation infrastructure with a focus on the PPP model," scheduled for March 17-19. Students who are former or current government officials in their home countries and have research interests focused on water and sanitation issues are preferred participants.

Participating students are requested to attend the debriefing session scheduled for the end of February, complete assigned reading materials as requested by the instructor, and attend the program in person on Day 1 (March 17) and Day 3 (March 19) at the ADBI office and actively contribute to group discussions as requested by the facilitators.
Please note that Day 2 (March 18) will be a project demonstration site visit exclusively for ADB staff and overseas government officials. Student participants may take a break.
Student participants will receive a certificate jointly signed by ADBI and Toyo University.

2025 ADB’s Internship Program – Batch 2 (Application period: 6 to 28 February 2025, On-boarding: June 2025 onwards)
The internship program offers students the opportunity to work in a major international development organization and work collaboratively with experienced professionals from over 50 different countries. Interns will gain a deeper understanding of development finance and the impact of the work ADB does and contribute to ADB's business through research outputs.
Intern Qualifications: • enrolled in a Master's- or PhD-level program at a school in one of the ADB member nations, for the entire duration of the assignment; • engaged in academic study in a field directly related to ADB's work; • a national of one of ADB's members; and • possess an excellent command of English.
Internship durations range from a minimum of 8 weeks to a maximum of 11 weeks. ADB provides interns with a stipend for the duration of the assignment and an allowance for round trip airfare. Interns are responsible for other expenses including own living accommodations. ADB supports interns to obtain visa for the assigned locations if needed. GraSPP Doctoral students are invited to apply for RA positions to work for GraSPP Research Seminars.
Eligibility: Students enrolled in the GraSPP doctoral program
Term of appointment: Six months (April 2025 - September 2025)
Responsibilities: RAs are expected to contribute to the GraSPP Research Seminar Program at all levels of work in collaboration with faculty members and staff. Please see attached for details.
Remuneration: 40,000 yen/month

令和7年2月25日（火）、26日（水）に令和7年度第2次学力試験（前期日程）を実施するので，以下の臨時措置をとる。 また，令和7年2月27日（木）に第２次学力試験（前期日程）理科三類面接試験を実施するので，試験当日は医学部２号館及び医学部・総合中央館（医学図書館）の建物について，入館制限等の臨時措置をとることとする。
受験者，本学教職員，研究のために特に入構を必要とする本学学生・研究生及び特別の許可を得た者を除き， 試験場区域内への立入は一切禁止する。 本学教職員は，入構の際，「職員証」を提示すること。 研究のために特に入構を必要とする本学学生・研究生は，入構の際，「学生証」・「研究生証」を提示すること。 本学教職員，学生・研究生以外で特別の許可を得た者は，入構の際，部局長の発行する「入試特別入構証」を提示すること。 本学教職員，本学学生・研究生及び特別の許可を得た者の入・出構は， 正門，伊藤国際学術研究センター門，弥生門及び薬学部角・第ニ食堂前のゲート並びに農学部正門とする。 また，車両による入構は，原則として禁止する。 特に，2月26日（水）14:40～15:20は「英語（聞き取り試験）」試験中の静穏な環境の保持のため， 車両（緊急車両を除く）の試験場区域内の走行を禁止する。 試験場区域内においては，試験の妨げにならぬよう静粛にすること。
【外務省APEC室】ＡＰＥＣプロジェクト説明会のご案内
ＡＰＥＣはアジア太平洋地域の持続可能な成長と繁栄を目的に過去数十年以上に亘って、２１の参加国・地域において、政府がビジネス界・学術界とも密接に連携しながら様々な活動を積み重ねています。今回は、ビジネス界、学術界の皆様方にＡＰＥＣプロジェクトについて説明させていただく機会を設け、理解を深めていただければと考えています。 既にご承知の方々も多いと思いますが、ＡＰＥＣプロジェクトとは、ＡＰＥＣの主要活動のひとつであり、ＡＰＥＣ予算を活用してＡＰＥＣの重要テーマ（貿易・投資の自由化・円滑化、成長を目指した経済技術協力等）の実現のために実施されている取り組みです。ＡＰＥＣ全体で平均して年間約 150～200 件（2024 年のプロジェクト提案に対する承認率は 77％）が承認・実施されており、日本では、これまで省庁、大学、研究機関等が実施してきました。
