《開催趣旨》
地球沸騰化により多くの被害に直面するアフリカ地域農業の現状を把握し、日本の基礎科学研究成果を応用することにより、これらの諸問題の解決に資する新しい枠組みを考えるためのシンポジウムとして開催します。ウガンダおよびエチオピアなどのアフリカ諸国より、政府関係者や研究者、それらの地域で活動する国連およびJICAなどのステークスホルダーとともに、学内外の最先端の研究者による講演を行い、異常気象対策の新しい枠組み創出のための契機としたいと考えています。
