Dear GraSPP alumni, students, faculty and staff members,
Hope this message finds you well in the early days of autumn.
We are pleased to announce the upcoming Homecoming Day (GraSPP Alumni & Students Day), scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, October 18.
The program will begin with a lecture by GraSPP’s Professor Naoko Munakata’s talk on “Trump Tariffs and the Future of the Global Order”. This will be followed by greetings from the Alumni Association President and the Student Council President, and a report on the latest developments at GraSPP from the GraSPP Dean. Then, a networking reception will take place, where attendees can enjoy food and drinks while mingling. Prof. Munakata will speak on the Trump tariffs, drawing on her experience and expertise as former Director-General of the Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau at METI and Executive Secretary to the Prime Minister.
Prior to the main event, from 16:00–17:00, volunteers will meet in the same venue to share updates on the Alumni Association, discuss current challenges, and consider future directions. Any interested alumni or current students are welcome to join this session.
We look forward to your participation.
