Stacey Chen
Stacey Chen is a Professor of Economics at UTokyo Public Policy. Her research focuses on labor and development economics, emphasizing health, education, and inequality. She received the Japan Center for Economic Research Award in 2021, the Best Taiwan Economic Research Award from Tawain Economics Associate in 2019, and the Career Development Award from Academia Sinica in 2014. She co-founded the Health Cloud Project of Academia Sinica and the Applied Economics Workshop. Dr. Chen received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester in 2002 and her undergraduate degree in Economics from the National Taiwan University in 1992.
