The Shokumon Award is presented by the University of Tokyo to individuals, corporations, or organizations that have made significant contributions to the university’s development, in recognition and appreciation of their efforts.
Since the establishment of the endowed chair “Capital Markets and Public Policy” in April 2007, Mizuho Securities has supported education and research on capital markets and finance, exploring the structure of capital markets and the appropriateness of their regulation and supervision from a public policy perspective.
This award reflects the broad recognition of Mizuho Securities’ continued contributions to building a foundation for education and research at the GraSPP. We are deeply honored by this recognition.
