A GraSPP alumna’s opinion titled “Welcoming the new age of Indonesia’s power business” appeared on The Jakarta Post, a national newspaper in Indonesia. One of the authors is Faelasufa (class of 2016), an energy policy analyst working in the power-generation sector.

“Our idea on what could be the next IPP regime in Indonesia just published on The Jakarta Post (printed edition on December 21, 2018). In the Indonesian power business, we see that the market posture could shift from bulk power generation to small and distributed generation. Surely it will be a tremendous challenge for giant IPPs to adapt as they have got used to enjoy the big-size power generation. Will this become a new era for the rise of energy start-ups such as Akuo Energy?”

“This is my third article on The Jakarta Post! The English writing skills I gained at GraSPP helps me while I was not so fluent in writing in English back then. More importantly, I practically had almost zero knowledge about the energy sector before joining GraSPP. My professional journey in the energy sector really started from GraSPP, with the guidance and lecture from our wonderful Professors.”
