Class Cancellation due to typhoon or natural disaster 

Graduate School of Public Policy

1. If the Japan Meteorological Agency has already announced “Emergency Warning” or “Storm Warning” to any of Tokyo 23 special-wards, GraSPP classes are canceled as follows.
   (1) Announcement in effect at 6AM: 1^st and 2^nd classes are canceled.
   (2) Announcement in effect at 10AM: 3^rd and 4^th classes are canceled.
   (3) Announcement in effect at 2PM: 5^th and 6^th classes are canceled.

2. If the Japan Meteorological Agency has announced “Emergency Warning” or “Storm Warning” to any of Tokyo 23 special-wards, GraSPP classes are canceled as follows.
   (1) Announcement between 6AM and 10AM: 1^st and 2^nd classes are canceled. After that, 1 above is applicable.
   (2) Announcement between 10AM and 2PM: 3^rd and 4^th classes are canceled. After that, 1 above is applicable.
   (3) Announcement after 2PM: 5^th and 6^th classes are canceled.

3. Regardless of 1 or 2 above, if a natural disaster disrupts traffic excessively or it carries a lot of risk to commute to the campus, please refrain from going to the university for safety reason.
