The Student Scholarship and Welfare Group has announced the result of Tuition Fee Exemption for the Second Half of AY2020 on UTAS. Students who applied for the tuition exemption should read the following notice and check the result through UTAS.

GraSPP Graduate School Office will send an e-mail on tuition payment separately to those who are graduating from GraSPP in March, 2021. Please also read it through carefully.

The results of the selection for the tuition fee exemption have been announced on the UTokyo Academic affairs System (UTAS). Please log in to UTAS and check the “Student Info” section. If there are no notifications by late January, please contact the Scholarship Team of the Student Scholarship and Welfare Group. However, the result for deferred payment of tuition fee will be sent by mail. Therefore, if you have not received a notification by late January, please contact the Scholarship Team of the Student Scholarship and Welfare Group.

Please note that Monday, 1 March is the scheduled withdrawal date. Students who have been approved for reduced payment or have had their application for tuition fee exemption rejected and have arranged to pay their tuition fees by direct debit, should make sure they have deposited the amount equivalent to their tuition fees into their account by 3pm on Friday, 26 February. Students who have not registered for direct debit should pay their tuition fees in accordance with the invoice that will be sent by the Accounting Group.

The purpose of this program is to help students who excel academically but suffer economic hardships so that they do not give up continuing their academic studies. Under the current serious financial conditions, the number of applicants has been rapidly increasing. We appreciate your full understanding of our efforts to manage this program on a limited budget.
