Tokyo College, The University of Tokyo Institutes for Advanced Study (UTIAS), is pleased to invite Dr. Michael Keen—Former Deputy Director of the Fiscal Affairs Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and currently a Ushioda Fellow at Tokyo College—to give a public lecture titled:

Following the Liberal Democratic Party’s historic landslide victory in the recent House of Representatives election, what lies ahead for Japan’s consumption tax?
We will welcome Professor Shigeki Kunieda (Faculty of Law, Chuo University) and Professor Motohiro Sato (Graduate School of Economics, Hitotsubashi University) as commentators to join the discussion.
