The application of academic gown for students who will graduate in March 2026 will be available from 【Jan.6(Tue) – Feb.20(Fri) 2026】at the University of Tokyo CO-OP. If you wish to rent or purchase a gown, please visit the following web pages and place your order through the CO-OP website.
Academic gowns are worn optionally based on the individual’s preference, and they are NOT mandatory to attend the ceremony.
* As the University of Tokyo CO-OP has only limited numbers of gowns in stock, they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
* To rent or purchase academic gowns, you need to present a certificate of expected graduation which is available at the certificate dispensers on campus.
