 A1A2ターム月曜１限「公共管理論Ⅱ」（担当：大西淳也教授）はCapstone演習として開講されることになりました。 シラバスが変更されておりますので、関心のある方はWeb-UTASでご確認ください。 ≪Capstone演習とは≫ より実践に即した学びを行う場として、いくつかの科目を2022年度からCapstone演習と位置付けています。（授業科目一覧をご参照ください。） Capstone演習は、学生のチームがこれまでに修得した知識やスキルを用いて、外部のクライアントから提示された課題に対し解決策を考案し、クライアントからフィードバックを受けるものです。修了要件上はCapstone演習以外の科目の単位と同様にカウントされ、在学中に履修することを推奨します。

Important notice for scholars a) World Bank scholars are only allowed to apply for an unpaid internship and need to notify the World Bank by sending information on the internship to JJ/WBGSP email address. b) ADB scholars need to notify the ADB by a letter with information on the internship through GraSPP Office before applying for the internship and obtain permission from the ADB first. c) IMF scholars are only allowed to apply for an unpaid internship with approval both from their sponsoring agency and GraSPP before application. d) JDS scholars need to consult with JICE for the procedure before starting the internship. e) JICA scholars are only allowed to apply for an unpaid internship and need to receive approval from the faculty member in charge and share information with JICA. 4. Please join an information session on International Field Workshop in Asia if you consider taking this course. Date & time         Thursday, May 25 | 12:15-12:45 Venue                     Seminar Room B This course provides students with opportunities to discuss current public policy issues with officials, managerial staff, and experts in government agencies, international organizations, business entities, NPOs, and research institutions in Asia with the following four objectives. First, it helps students identify today’s public policy challenges and learn how to design solutions. Second, it assists students in developing skills to communicate professionally—in written and oral forms—and moderate a meeting discussion. Third, it encourages students to learn how to deliver their messages to public policy practitioners and the general public. Fourth, it allows students to network with professionals to broaden their future career potential. Students willing to take this course need to pass a pre-registration screening to be held before the S2 registration period (June 12-16). Please do not count credits for this course to satisfy your completion requirements if you plan to graduate in September 2023. 私は東アジアの平和構築がしたいという強い思いに導かれてCAMPUS Asiaプログラムの一期生としてGraSPPに入学しました。学部での選考が国際教養だったため、幅広い視野と国際性を身に着けることができましたが、4年間で得た学びから具体性を持って学びたいと思った際に、東大がCAMPUS Asiaプログラムを実施していることを知りました。二か国での学びは多くの学校にあると思いますが、三か国に軸をおいて研究ができること、世界で将来活躍する学生が各国から集まっていることに惹かれました。 CAMPUS Asiaでの出会い、経験、学びが今の自分を形成している 私はソウル大学に半年、北京大学に1年間（修士取得）留学をすることができました。日本・韓国・中国で出会った人々、感じた気持ち、得た経験と学びは今の私を人間として形作るうえで欠かせないものです。 留学前に一番印象に残っているのは、東大で実施したCAMPUS Asiaのサマースクールと、学生側から提案して自主的に実施したCAMPUS Asia学生を対象にした合宿です。CAMPUS Asiaのサマースクールでは、政治や経済だけではなく、浅草での文化体験や被災地福島への訪問等、普段の教室では体験できない時間を仲間と過ごすことができました。また、学生側から提案し、CAMPUS Asiaの学生で合宿を実施したことも忘れられません。これからの三か国関係がどうあるべきか、どうあってほしいか、正直で心の通った議論ができ、最終的に文章として成果をまとめたことが記憶に残っています。大学院が学部と異なるのは、「みんなが進学するからする」ではなく、具体的な将来像や研究、得たい機会など、選択をしてその場に来ている学生が学部より多いということです。多くの後輩の皆さんにも2年間を自主的に、どん欲に、楽しく過ごしてほしいと思います。 好きなことを継続して追いかける 私は学部時代から、東アジアの平和構築がしたいという思いで過ごしてきました。その思いは今も変わらず、そしてCAMPUS Asiaの経験が芯となり今日の私がいると思います。修了して2023年の現在、約8年の月日が流れましたが、個としてキャリアやその他の活動をまとめて、「東アジアといえば長川さん」と周りに認識してもらえるようになったと感じています。 私は現在、キャリアとしては経営大学院での主にテクノベート（テクノロジーとイノベーションを掛け合わせた造語）・日本・アジア領域における特別プログラムの企画・開発及び大学での非常勤講師、そしてその他の活動としてNPO法人にて「東アジア平和大使プロジェクト」という社会に開かれた教育プログラムを三年間企画、運営しています。また、世界経済フォーラムが組織するGlobal Shapers Communityにて北東アジア地域の代表を務めています。私としては好きなことを継続して追いかけてきただけなのですが、そのような地道な成果と情熱が認められ、1月にはダボス会議に世界の若者の50人（Davos 50）として参加する機会を頂きました。 私はキャリアとその他の活動をあまり分けて考えていません。どのように自分の好きなことに向かって自分の人生を設計できるかを考え、「おもしろいな」と単純に思ったことを積み重ねてここまで過ごし、今の私があるからです。そしてそれができるのは、「やっぱり私は東アジアの人や社会とかかわるのが好きだな」という確信と、それに伴う多くの経験を培った、CAMPUS Asiaでの2年半があるからです。そこで出会った年齢も、国籍も、興味も多様な仲間とは、今も多くの時間を共有しています。私が強い興味を持つ三か国の関係は、時として多くを政治に左右されます。私はそれでも、三か国の国民感情は必ず良くなると信じています。CAMPUS Asiaでの2年半が、それを私に教えてくれました。 自身が大切にしていることを忘れず、自分と仲間の可能性を信じ、ここでしかできない経験を積む 皆さんが好きなこと、心動かされることは何ですか。どんな人生を生きたいと思いますか。一間難しい質問に聞こえるかもしれませんが、これまでの人生やそこでの選択を振り返ると、誰しも何かしらは必ず答えられる問いだと思います。 GraSPPに入学するために書類に記載する「国際政治を勉強したい」というような、「ちゃんとした」理由はたくさんあると思います。私からお伝えしたいのは、ちゃんとしたように聞こえない理由でも、それを大切にして、入学してほしいということです。なぜなら、GraSPPでの学びは教室の講義だけではなく、偶然的な出会いや、好奇心に導かれた自主的な決断で紡ぎ出される時間が多くを構成しているからです。ふとした瞬間に隣に座ったアフリカの国営銀行からきているクラスメートとの会話、ソウルで経験した「フルタイムインターンの外国人は私一人」という状況のインターンシップ、北京を飛び出してクラスメートと行った天津への旅行、修了後に仲間と自主的に企画した東アジアについてのシンポジウム。教室で用意された学びだけではなく、色々な事が重なって偶然的、必然的に起こった経験の数々が、私の記憶に深く刻まれています。 これから入学される皆さんにも、ご自身が大切にしていることを忘れず、ご自身と仲間の可能性を信じ、多くのここでしかできない経験を積み、同じ大学院の仲間としていつか出会うことが出来ればうれしいです。
