CAMPUS Asia Career Panel in Tokyo
Register for the CAMPUS Asia Career Panel in Tokyo, featuring CAMPUS Asia alumni on Saturday, October 8, 2022 14:30 to 17:30 at 5F, Sumida Satellite Campus, Chiba University. Are you a CAMPUS Asia student unsure of what to do after graduation? Do you want to pursue a career related to China, Japan, and Korea? Are you interested in working in an international organization? If so, come to our event on October 8 to hear from the Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), hear about open positions at the TCS, meet CAMPUS Asia alumni, and network with students from other universities in the Tokyo area. The event will discuss how experiences studying abroad helped in pursuing careers after graduation, tips for employment, and career/ internship opportunities with the TCS. This event is open to all students interested in the event, regardless of affiliation with the CAMPUS Asia program and nationality. Attendance is FREE. Regarding courses hold lottery when the number of registrants exceeds 60
Econometrics for Public Policy(5113075) Macroeconomics(5113041) Statistical Methods(5113061) The capacity of these courses offer at A1A2 term, AY2022 are 60 students. If the enrollment limit is exceeded, participants will be decided by lottery. The priority shall conform to the following order. GraSPP students who take as required course. Other GraSPP students Other Graduate School students The lottery will be held among students who registered the course via UTAS by Friday, October 7th. Please note that the students who does not register by Friday, October 7th cannot take this course. When you cannot register the course by Friday, October 7th as you are a student of other graduate school student, please ask your graduate school office to register the course instead of you. The results of the lottery will be posted at GraSPP Student Bulletin board on Thursday, October 13th. When the lottery is not held, it will be also announced. Registration information on UTAS for those who are not chosen as a participant, will be withdrawn by GraSPP Office. -
Notes Regarding Course Registration for Courses Offered at A1A2 term and A1 term
Registration period for courses offered at A1A2 term and A1 term has started today, October 3. Please reconfirm Page 41-43 of “Course Registration and Academic Procedures Guide” and make sure you register necessary courses during the designated period. Registration Period From Monday, October 3 to Friday, October 7. Course Registration and Academic Procedures Guide (PDF) http://www.pp.u-tokyo.ac.jp/en/education/courses/ Please pay special attention to the following points: -Be sure to meet the deadlines. Procedures cannot be made outside of the period. -You need to register your courses through UTAS. Course registration through ITC-LMS or bookmarking syllabus on UTAS is different from “Course Registration” on UTAS. To earn credits, you must register courses through UTAS. -“Course registration correction period” is provided after “Registration period”. You can add, change and remove courses during the period. You CANNOT add, change or remove courses after the period. -Maximum amount of credits that students can register in one academic year is 38. Autumn enrolled student’s academic year will be counted from September. -If you are planning to register Thesis(6 credits) and/or Research Paper(2 credits), please make sure you do not exceed 38 credits including Thesis and Research Paper. -If you have any trouble or difficulties with registration on UTAS, please contact GraSPP Office by the end of course registration correction period. We cannot respond to any request after the period. -

NOTICE: Tuition Payment for the autumn semester AY2022 1. Withdrawal from a bank account The tuition for the autumn semester AY2022 will be withdrawn from your bank account on Monday, November 28. Please be sure to credit enough amount to your account by Friday, November 25. The amount of the tuition for the autumn semester AY2022 is as follows. Graduate students (Professional Masters programs): 267,900 yen Graduate students (Ph.D. programs): 260,400 yen 2. To students who have applied for tuition exemption If you receive an exemption for half the amount or do not get an exemption, the payment due date will be announced in late January 2023 on UTAS and UTokyo website. After you check the notice, please credit your account with the corresponding amount by the due date. 3. Issuing a receipt If you would like to issue a tuition receipt, you can apply for it online through UTAS. For more details, please refer the UTAS manual for graduate students which is available on UTAS. Please note that receipts will only be issued after Wednesday, December 7. UTAS *When you access to UTAS, your UTokyo account’s ID and password are required. -

Internship: Application for Course credits for Internship / インターンシップの履修登録及び単位認定の手続きについて
Application for Course credits for InternshipStudents may apply for one credit for the Practical Training Course “Internship” (Course code: 5139000/5139001): ◾Internships for one week or more at public policy-related organizations such as government agencies, municipal bodies, NPOs, or private institutions can be registered as “Internship” for one credit. ◾Students can register for the “Internship” anytime at the GraSPP Office. ◾At least one week before the start of the internship, submit the “Internship Application Form” with your academic instructor's signature or stamp to the GraSPP Office. ◾Within one week after completing the internship, ask your academic instructor to evaluate the “Internship Report Form”. ◾Submit the report with the academic instructor's signature or stamp to the GraSPP Office. *As for "Academic Instructors", please refer to the following “List of Academic Instructors” (excepted part-time lecturer). * Students can earn a maximum of one credit for internship participation in the entire course of study at GraSPP.

公共政策に関わる政府、地方自治体、NPO、民間等の機関において1週間以上のインターンシップに参加する場合、履修登録を行い、1単位を修得することができます。 履修登録は公共政策大学院係で随時行っています。 単位の認定を求める学生は「インターンシップ申請書」に必要事項を記入し、担当教員の了解を得た上で、実施期間開始1週間前までに公共政策学務チームへ提出してください。. インターンシップ終了後、1週間以内に「インターンシップ実施報告書」を作成し、担当教員に評価を依頼してください。 評価を受けた後、「インターンシップ実施報告書」を公共政策学務チームに提出してください。※担当教員となりうる教員は、以下の教員紹介ページ(※非常勤講師除く)を参照してください。参加予定のインターンシップの内容から各自判断の上、適すると思われる教員に相談・依頼をしてください。 ※インターンシップによる単位修得は、修了までに1単位を上限とします。
