Office Visit to Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung
The Tokyo Policy Review, in collaboration with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (“KAS”), is hosting a site visit to the KAS Japan Office on 10 August 2022. The visit will include ● A dialogue between attendants and KAS staff on KAS’ work in Japan and the Asia-Pacific, and on professional experience in policy organizations ● Discussion on KAS’ recent work on topics such as women’s entrepreneurship, security in East Asia, and the future of work. We encourage GrasPP students and alumni who wish to discover the role and work of KAS, gain insights into the working experience at policy organisations such as KAS, and expand their professional networks to attend this visit. You will receive an email to confirm if you have been selected/waitlisted. Important note:: You will need to take an ART/PCR test the day before the visit and obtain a negative result. You may self-administer the test using your own test kit or take a PCR test at any test centre around Tokyo. Free tests are available at many testing centres. NOTICE: Applications for exemptions of admission fee in Sept. 2022 and tuition for the second half of AY2022 Those who wish to apply for admission fee and/or tuition exemptions, please see the following web page and mail application documents to the Scholarship Team of the Student Scholarship and Welfare Group by respective deadlines. Please note that NO applications after the deadlines are accepted for any reason. Also, in case there are flaws in application, as it takes much more time for further communication, we strongly recommend that you mail it well in advance. Application guidelines and forms are available on the following web page after Friday, 29 July. Application Procedure for 2022, Admission / Tuition Fee Exemption (PDF, 96KB)If you would like to apply for both admission fee and tuition exemptions, you need to submit applications at the same time.
Application periods for exemption and deferred payment of Admission fee: from Monday, 1 August to Wednesday, 7 September Tuition: from Monday, 1 August to Wednesday, 7 September (new students in September 2022) *If you apply ONLY to tuition exemption, the deadline is set on Friday, October 7. from Monday, 1 August to Friday, 7 October (current students) Submit to: The Scholarship Team of the Student Scholarship and Welfare Group by registered mail (簡易書留郵便) only * In case you stay abroad at the time of application and would be difficult to send out the documents via postal mail by the deadline, please contact the GraSPP Graduate School Office one week before the deadline at latest. NOTICE: The University of Tokyo 2022 Autumn Semester Diploma Presentation Ceremony
The University of Tokyo will hold the Diploma Presentation Ceremony for AY2022 as follows. Date&Time: Thursday, 22 September, 2022 Start at 10 a.m. Venue: Yasuda Auditorium (Address: 7-3-1, Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) (Campus Map) Eligibility: Students who graduated (will graduate) between April and September 2022 *The ceremony will be held in English. *Family members cannot attend the ceremony. *For those who are unable to attend the ceremony, there will be provided a livestream of the ceremony via the Internet. *Depending on the situation, ceremony details are subject to change. In the afternoon of the same day, the GraSPP Diploma Presentation Ceremony will take place. However, the details have not decided yet and subject to changes (including the cancellation of the ceremony) depending on the university activities restrictions caused by the covid-19 pandemics. The GraSPP Graduate School Office will notify its schedule of graduating students directly. -

The UTokyo University-wide Student Exchange Program application guidelines have been announced on the Go Global website. Those who wish to apply for this program should read the application guidelines carefully and submit necessary documents through UTAS. (A part of application documents should be uploaded to the web separately. For more details, please see the guidelines.) The application deadline is NOON on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. <Submission of Letter of Assessment> ・Submission deadline for the Letter of Assessment is also NOON on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. ・Please ask your assessor to submit the Letter of Assessment to the link below.
