NOTICE: Tuition Payment for the autumn semester AY2018 1. Withdrawal from a bank account The tuition for the autumn semester AY2018 will be withdrawn from your bank account on Tuesday, 27 November. Please be sure to credit enough money to your account by Monday, 26 November. The amount of the tuition for the autumn semester AY2018 is as follows. Graduate students (Professional Masters programs) who enrolled in Sep. 2018: 312,550yen Graduate students (Ph.D. programs) who enrolled in Sep. 2018: 303,800 yen *For the first year, the tuition payment will be for the first seven months from September 2018 to March 2019. Graduate students (Professional Masters programs) other than above: 267,900 yen Graduate students (Ph.D. programs) other than above: 260,400 yen 2. Applicants for tuition exemption If you receive an exemption for half the amount or do not get an exemption, the payment due date will be announced at the beginning of December through UTAS or UTokyo website. After you check the notice, please credit your account with the corresponding amount by the due date. 3. Issuing a receipt If you would like to issue a tuition receipt, you can apply it online through UTAS. For more details, please refer the UTAS manual for graduate students which is available on UTAS. Please be noted that receipts will only be issued after Wednesday, 5 December. UTAS *When you access to UTAS, your UTokyo account’s ID and password are required.

The information from the School of Engineering is as follows. Seminar by the President of Airbus Tom Enders will be held as follows. Date: November 29th 16:15-18:15pm Venue: 213 Lecture Room, Engineering Building No.2 Topics include Airbus activities about space, digitization of aerospace and manufacturing, urban air mobility, etc. No previous reservation is required.

From the autumn semester of 2018, GraSPP sets two additional requirements for students’ changing program (sub-specialization). In order to change the program, you must (1)study in the currently enrolled program at least one year, and, (2)complete some of the courses (class subjects) offered by the program in which your wish to change, and show the certain level of academic achievements. Other procedures etc. remain unchanged. Students who wish to change the program should check with GraSPP office in advance, then complete needed procedures at least one month before the first day of the term in which you wish to make the change.
