This is the 8th LKY Japan Study Trip, which will be held from Feb. 23 to Mar. 3. The purpose of the trip is to provide an opportunity for students of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (LKYSPP) and GraSPP to study Japanese public policy through discussions and visits to stakeholders such as ministries, local governments, and local industries. GraSPP Day, which is a tradition of LKYSPP Japan Study Trip, will be held on March 2 as a conclusion for the trip. (Another announcement on GraSPP Day will be made separately)
We are recruiting operation members of the trip and there will be funding available for them.
- Responsibility
- Support the LKYSPP Japan Study Trip together with committee members from LKYSPP’s side
- Participate meetings (around 2 meetings will be held) of operation members to better prepare for the trip (dates will be decided after the list of operation members is finalized)
- Prepare and organize the GraSPP Day on March 2
We look for applicants who can contribute to smooth operation of the trip as well as who are willing to welcome LKY students with great hospitality!

– Current and incoming students of GraSPP
– Able to participate in the above dates
– Ability to speak both Japanese and English is preferred

*If we receive more than 6 applications, we will consult the application form as well as the participant’s commitment to the trip (whether he/she can make full commitment or not).
- Cost
Accommodations and transportation outside of Tokyo will mainly be funded by the program. You may be asked to pay around 10,000 JPY for food and other expenses.

GraSPP operation members will directly head to Kyoto on the 24th Feb and meet the LKY students. Accommodation fees for nights in Kyoto and Hiroshima will be covered by the program.
