Call for application | ADBI-ICHARM Policy Dialogue on Water-related Disaster Resilience under Climate Change January 27-28, 2020 December 12, 2019

Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) is willing to invite up to seven (7) mid-career GraSPP students from the government sector to participate in an event “ADBI-ICHARM Policy Dialogue on Water-related Disaster Resilience under Climate Change” jointly organized by ADBI and International Centre for Water Hazard and Risk Management (ICHARM). The event takes place at ADBI Office on January 27-28, 2020.

The objective of the policy dialogue is to explore and discuss initiatives and efforts to strengthen governance and investment for water-related disaster resilience under climate change in Asia. Participants are experts from various public scientific agencies, ministries, and public works departments in Japan and developing member countries of the International Flood Initiative (IFI).

If you are interested in participating in the event, please send an e-mail to Mr. Nikhil Bugalia, Research Associate, at nbugalia<a>adbi.org (please replace <a> with @) by Friday, January 10, 2020. Your e-mail should include (a) a brief description of your interest in policy issues connected to water-related disaster resilience under climate change in Asia and (b) your past work experience. After the screening by ADBI, up to seven (7) selected students will be invited to the event.
