NOTICE: Tuition Payment for the spring semester AY2020 (Schedule changed)
– There are some changes on withdrawal and exemption schedule. Please read through the following notice. (2020-04-20)
1. Withdrawal from a bank account
The tuition for the spring semester AY2020 will be withdrawn from your bank account on Monday, 27 July. Please be sure to credit enough money to your account by Wednesday, 22 July.
The amount of the tuition for the spring semester AY2020 is as follows.
Graduate students (Professional Masters program) : 267,900 yen
Graduate students (PhD program) : 260,400 yen
*The tuition for students who enrolled in September before 2018:
Professional Master’s program==>223,250 yen
PhD program==>217,000 yen
2. Applicants for tuition exemption
If you receive an exemption for half the amount or do not get an exemption, the payment due date will be announced on UTAS or the online bulletin board in late July. Please credit your account with the corresponding amount immediately after the announcement.
3. Issuing a receipt
The withdrawal of the tuition will be appeared on your bank account statement. If you need an official receipt issued by the University of Tokyo, please come to the GraSPP Graduate School Office.
The receipt is scheduled to be issued after Tuesday, 4 August.
